Thailand Gains mLearning Advantage Using Learning Mobile Author

Haymarket, VA and Bangkok, Thailand, December 11, 2007 - The mobile learning market continues to grow in the country of Thailand. More learners than ever before are using mobile phones and PocketPCs to gain access to learning materials. MLearning enables them to have 24/7 access to materials without having to actually be in a classroom setting. The learning materials are literally ‘at-hand’.

“Partnering with Hot Lava Software Inc. has allowed us to tap into a whole new market. What is interesting is that clients are looking at innovative approaches, broadly based around an end-to-end solution for the customers for the mobile learning solution,” says Paul Kell, CEO, OMNI Consulting Thailand Ltd.

“OMNI Consulting does awesome consulting work in developing and building mLearning for their clients. Their ability to strategically adapt to the rapidly, ever-changing, mLearning market has been proven.” says Bob Sanregret, CEO, Hot Lava Software Inc. “With today’s fast paced society, learning styles are rapidly changing. There is more and more demand for the accelerated creation of high end learning materials that can be accessed anywhere, anytime. Today’s market is all about convenience and we have to stay in sync with what is in demand. OMNI Consulting does this with ease.”

Kell states that companies and learning institutions, in Thailand, are looking for solutions which integrate several different elements. Some of these include: an SMS notification to turn on GPRS, an SMS to alert the learner of new learning materials – and provide an auto-login, the facility for instant feedback and the capability to create and deliver an incentive/fulfillment to motivate performance.

“The management capability to track and trace users’ performance and the relative learning effectiveness of the educational content is very important,” says Paul Kell. “What is crystal clear is that no one but Hot Lava Software Inc. can demonstrably deliver the end-to-end solution. Period.”
